Testing has shown that it doesn't seem to be related to the length of the video or the size of the produced file. Most of the time I get an error message telling me that my Google account doesn't have a YouTube channel associated with it, although sometimes it will produce the video and then throw an error when it comes time to do the upload (though it lets you save the produced file in that case). I've been having this problem for the entire time that I've been using Camtasia 2018 on only a few occasions has a share to YouTube actually worked.
